How to Crack and Play Call of Duty Modern Warfare Multiplayer Online for PC

This article will instruct on how one would crack Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and play it online using cracked servers.
first i apologize for the long disclaimer, but it had to be written to cover those "rotten apples" who will use this information to do something "illegal". For all intents and purposes this is strictly informational. Why crack? Cracking makes it easier to apply many modes alter the game and play in private servers though alternate hosting services.That being said lets get to the grit.
COD4 = Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
pb = punkbuster
file links are all posted at the bottom.
1)
First you will need a copy of COD4:MW (they are all the same disk or digital).
This is usually done through torrents (if your unsure what torrents are read my torrents article). There are several copies floating around out there, some with cracks others without. It will not matter if you download one with a crack or not as you will not be using that particular crack, if the crack is a separate file i recommend not downloading that file, just COD4.

You will need a serial.
If the torrent you downloaded came with a serial for the game do not use it, as it has likely be used by many and has already been blocked by punkbuster. Thus you will get a "Global Punkbuster GUID BAN 50a15a0a" later on when you try to play multiplayer. What you need here is a Cd Key Generator thus ensuring you will have a key that is unused and not banned. By the way your stats in multiplayer will be linked to your CD Key so once you start playing you will not want to change your CD Key, hence facing a reset of you hard earned stats. You can download a Cd Key Generator through torrents again, some copies of COD4 will come with a Generator.
3)
You are ready to install. Install the game with a generated key.

Updating your COD4. Based on whatever torrent you downloaded you will have a different version of COD4 ranging form v1.0+. It doesn't matter which version you have because they will all be out of date. Lucky the update pack 1.6 includes all previous update packs [Full update]. Don't bother downloading versions 1.2-1.5 they are included in the 1.6. You will how ever afterward have to apply update 1.7. do not skip update 1.6 and go directly to 1.7,[incremental update] - does not included previous update content.
You will need:

You are now ready to crack. The crack you will be using is a single player crack. Use it even if you do not plan to play single payer.
You will need:
SP Crack v1.7 (iw3sp.exe) one copy can be found here - http://www.gameburnworld.com/dl/dl.php?file=CallOfDuty4ModernWarfarev1.7NoDVDFixedexeEng.rar
DO NOT TOUCH THE iw3mp.exe FILE (multiplayer)

Now you will need to download Qtracker. Qtracker is an external server listing program that will allow you to add servers besides those listed in the COD4 multiplayer screen. I recomend this service regardless of what games your playing cracked or not as it consolidates the server lists for all big multipalyer games and makes for a better online experice overall.
You will need:
qtracker4xx.exe it can be found here - http://www.qtracker.com/
Qtracker is FREEWARE, click the Try Now button for the full version. Install.

Adding COD4 to Qtracker. Open Qtracker got to View>Settings>"Games Installed" and find Call of Duty 4: Modern warfare. Click Apply, Ok. On the left hand side in the games a folders pane Right Click COD4 and "create a new folder", name it whatever you like. Right click this folder and go to Properties>"Application used to play game". Find iw3mp.exe in your computers Activision\Call of Duty folder (by default in program files). Click Apply, Ok

Adding cracked server lists. You will import an entire list at once. You can download lists from various places (one posted below) Right click the folder you created, Click import servers into this folder and browse for the .txt file containing the server list (private servers.txt) Hit refresh.

Punkbuster
Now if it weren't for punkbuster you would be ready to play, however pb causes several issues including banning non-registered servers. When this happens you will get a warning and then your game starts to lag vigorously. To solve this problem you will use a couple of small programs.
First, you will update pb.
You will need:
pbsetup.zip found here -http://websec.evenbalance.com/downloader/download.php?file=1
in the program update pb, then update COD4.
Second you will need to apply a fix. for the sever ban warning and lag problem.
You will need:
pbbanlagfix.exe found here -http://www.bagdadcafe.se/files/ppbanlagfix.rar
apply the fix as instructed.
You will have to restart the game a couple of times before this takes effect. Often even after this is done, the warning will come up for some severs. Some players have reported that if they ignore the lag and warning and continue to stay in the server for a short while the problem corrects itself, if and once this happens it should not appear again. I recommend not wasting you time as there are hundreds of servers, and with the fix applied many will work fine from the start.

are you using the key that comes with the crack? You need to use a key code generator to get a unique key. The ones that come with most torrents are in use. Try a key code generator go into the game and copy a few new generated keys, should only take a couple tries.

Hi, i am having some trouble getting the game started- it gives me a bad image error(multiple times) it says" COD4 is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing......." after clicking ok or close several times i get this error-"Fastfile for zone 'code_post_gfx' is corrupt or unreadable."

Once you get this started and you need some training, try downloading the PEZBOT mod, it allows you to practice against bots in multilayer mode with your friends. Have Fun :)

Trauma, you might find it on some torrent site.....and as for this crack i doubt it'll work but its worth a try and if nothing else works for you guys try the youtube video for '' how to play COD online for free'' that might help aswell and just keep trying and finding new ways if you really want it to work online for FREE...and thanks for trying to help out WRITER.
Ok, It's gonna be difficult to address all the issues you guys are having, especially without seeing them for myself, however I'm gonna try and help with what I can here:
#1) I believe Q tracker is still free, If you click the link I provided originally it will take you to their home page from there clicking "TRY NOW" instead of "Buy Now" will popup the free download, please post to let me know if it changes, however I dont see this happening.
#2) Yes you can ONLY play on cracked servers (easiest using Qtracker) thought this was clear, sorry if it wasn't.
#3) You DO need a Cd Key Generator. I stated that in the step 2 paragraph. I did not provide a link for you, this is because they are posted on Torrents which come up and collapse at random and the link wouldn't remain reliable for long. In addition many versions of the game downloaded from torrents come with a CD key generator.
#4) The Impure client error is likely caused by the detection of the cracked file, there may be an updated cracked file for this, If i come across it before you do I will post it, however you readers seem to be a lot more active than I am, so if someones finds this is the problem and finds an alternative crack please post it.

Dude u forgot to put the most important thing, thats why are all this ppl whit that ''key code is in use'' error, after u are done whit all the steps, open qtracker, then click on ur folder, and then right click on any server, connect > now, and then call of duty will open directly, and it will connect to the server inmediantly, and thats all.
Mugiwara, you're very right. Do not open the game from the Call of Duty icon or .exe period. Always open the game from Qutracker, by connection to servers displayed. Thought that was self explanatory, installing qtracker being pointless otherwise, but thank you for pointing it out.

Hey, whenever I try to join a server by using "right click -> now", the game starts up and thats it. Nothing happens.

OK, I got it working now. I selected iw3sp.exe instead of iw3mp.exe at QTracker's "Application used to play game"

Personally I am not a fan of dedicated servers and I'm kinda upset that they are coming back in Black Operations. There gets to be to many rules and regulations in servers. Plus the people who own them are to power hungry. Nice Hub!

It works great, although I had to go through and do each update individually, starting at 1.6 did not include the previous versions for me. To those of you with the problem saying key in use, make sure you replace the cracked iw3mp.exe.

You have to Start Qtracker and chose a server there, ricght klick -> connect -> now. Cod4 Will start imediately and you will probably able to play if PB doesn't ban you

Hi, all it seems that some of you have answered each others questions. TwoDee - feel free to use the disclaimer if you haven't already done so.
When you click connect in Qtracker it should start the installed COD game that's not an issue. You shouldn't have to replace the iw3mp.exe FILE (multiplayer) as stated in the tutorial because you are playing in cracked servers. The no CD error is because you have not applied the crack(s) at all and/or you are trying to start the game from the icon instead of from Qtracker.
Wish i had more time to go into more details for each of you but other readers seem to be a great source of knowledge.
Please let me know if any of the links go dead as i don't often click them myself.

I did everything, when i connect on a server from Qtraquer list it tells me 'Key code in Use' after 1 sec or 'Could not contact...' after 11seconds

i found CoD4 via torrent, got it to work with instructions within minutes. i was wondering why i couldn't play online until i found this simple guide. thanks to you, this game just got way better. i found my first cracked server and played for a little bit, excellent as expected. i am having the "Lag and Ban" message though, which is getting quite annoying. but as directed, i'm sure it will go away soon.

The QTracker link does not exist. When I go to another download site for the application it comes up with a file that cannot be read called MIME! Any ideas?
ok so i did everything as you said above, it brings up the server list in Qtracker then i click on a room and connect, game loads fine, error message from punkbuster unable to something or other bla bla takes me to menu selection, now what? still no games showing up in multiplayer

Whenever it says keycode in use, browse too local games in the right top corner of screen. if you imported the servers correctly they will show up. ya'll tryin too join legal servers which cant thats why the error pops up.

If you had trouble with joining server and it says Keygen in use, then do this...
On the multiplayer mainpage press the squigly button left of "1" and then copy in the IP adress of a cracked server. To find cracked COD servers go to EPC gaming. The IP address will look a nch of numbers with dots in between them

my iw_06.iwd is proper did some stuff to find a good one.
just google the torrent: files needed to play skullptura COD MW online multiplayer and they'll give u a list of all *.iwd from 06 to 13

I cant open the iw3mp.exe, it goes to fullscreen 1 second and then crashes. Tried fixing with many other cracked mp exe's, but no luck. Any ideas?
